‘Green Wing’ fans react to surprise anniversary revival

Green Wing was released on Audible yesterday (April 29), and fans are taking to social media to show their support.The original sitcom ran between 2004 and 2006, and was created by Smack The Pony producer Vicky Pile. Starring Tamsin Greig and Mark Heap of Friday Night Dinner, along with comedian Stephen Mangan and Fleabag star Olivia Colman, the series follows the lives of staff at a fictional NHS hospital.Now, ahead of the 20th anniversary of the release of the first series, an audio reboot of the show has been made, titled Green Wing: Resuscitated.The reboot sees many of the original cast, including Colman, Mangan and Grieg reprising their roles.

Timothée Chalamet swam in “enormous vat of hot chocolate” for ‘Wonka’
Wonka, it has been revealed.The prequel movie, which will be released in cinemas on December 15, sees Chalamet play the title character.A first trailer for Wonka was released earlier this week, giving fans their first proper glimpse at Chalamet’s singing and dancing young chocolatier, and director and co-writer Paul King has now shared a bit more information regarding the film’s set.In a scene previewed in the trailer, Wonka and his friend Noodle (Calah Lane) find themselves in a sea of chocolate, and King explained to PEOPLE how they shot the scene.“We actually made an enormous vat of hot chocolate — not scalding, just warm hot chocolate for them to immerse themselves in,” he said. “So there was a lot of chocolate around.”King then praised the film’s “incredible” on-set chocolatier, saying: “She made these incredible concoctions, and we would taste them.“They tasted much better than they needed to, because obviously actors are good at pretending things, but the miracle was they tasted every bit as good as they looked.”A synopsis of Wonka reads: “Starring Timothée Chalamet in the title role, this irresistibly vivid and inventive big screen spectacle will introduce audiences to a young Willy Wonka, chock-full of ideas and determined to the change the world one delectable bite at a time – proving that the best things in life begin with a dream, and if you’re lucky enough to meet Willy Wonka, anything is possible.”Alongside Chalamet, the star-studded cast includes Keegan-Michael Key, Rowan Atkinson, Sally Hawkins, Olivia Colman, Hugh Grant (as an Oompa-Loompa), Jim Carter and Matt Lucas.King also recently revealed that Chalamet didn’t have to audition for his leading role in the film.

Elsa Keslassy International Correspondent Olivia Colman, Antonio Banderas, Rachel Zegler and Emily Mortimer are in talks to join the cast of “Paddington in Peru,” the third opus of the beloved bear’s adventures. Set to start filming on July, the third installment film will also star Hugh Bonneville, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Madeleine Harris and Samuel Joslin. Ben Whishaw and Imelda Staunton will also be back as the voices of Paddington and Aunt Lucy, respectively. Filming locations will include the UK, Peru and Colombia. The movie will mark the feature film directorial debut of Dougal Wilson, and reteams Studiocanal with Heyday Films following their collaboration on the first two films of the Paddington franchise. Studiocanal is fully financing and will distribute in the UK, France, Germany, Benelux, Poland, Australia and New Zealand as well as through partners in China and Japan. Sony Pictures will distribute in the USA, Canada and other key international territories including Latin America.
