As the latest series of The Great Celebrity Bake Off comes to a close this Sunday, four more contestants will be hoping to impress judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith to win themselves the coveted title of Star Baker. While the show follows the same format as the usual series, as it includes a baking challenge, a technical challenge and finally a showstopper challenge, the Celebrity edition has the added bonus of also helping to raise money for the Stand Up To Cancer appeal.

Paddy told judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith: “What I was looking to do is give you Bake Off’s biggest erection - and I feel as though I have achieved that.” Earlier on as he made his dessert, Paddy had realised its phallic resemblance, and when his biscuit collapsed, he quipped: “A shaft has collapsed…story of my life.” Loose Women's Coleen Nolan, who is also appearing on the show, didn't miss an opportunity to dig him out, as she peered at his creation and said: "What the hell is that?" Paddy replied only half-joking as he said: "That's nice isn't it? That's encouraging.
