Jack Whitehall has confirmed that his popular sitcom Bad Education is due to make a return to screens, to celebrate the show's 10-year anniversary since it first aired.The comedy, which focuses on the antics of recently graduated teacher Alfie Wickers, ran for three series from 2012 to 201, with a spin-off film released in 2015.Jack shared the news via Instagram, confirming that a one-off 10th anniversary special and a new six-part series is in the pipeline.The comedian and writer, who created and starred in the show as main character Alfie, did not mention an expected date.The series will be broadcast on BBC3.He wrote: "Very exciting news. EXCLUSIVE: Apple TV+’ murder mystery comedy The Afterparty has made another high-profile cast addition for its upcoming second season. Actor-comedian Ken Jeong is set as a new series regular on the hit show from Oscar winners Chris Miller and Phil Lord.

Bad Education will return to TV screens a decade after the show first aired, with a full spin-off series featuring a new cast to follow.Created and co-written by Jack Whitehall, who also starred in the show as Alfie Wickers, the acclaimed BBC Three sitcom followed the adventures of “the worst teacher ever to grace the British education system” and an accompanying group of unruly students.Bad Education ran for three series between 2012 and 2014, before returning for a movie in 2019.
