Fresh Meat actress Kimberley Nixon has opened up about her severe post-natal depression in an incredibly candid social media post.
Fans may recognise Kimberley for her time playing Josie Jones in the Channel 4 comedy-drama Fresh Meat, alongside cast members such as Charlotte Ritchie, Inbetweeners star Joe Thomas, Jack Whitehall and Zawe Ashton.The 37 year old actress shares a son, Theodore, two, with her husband, Cai Howells, and detailed her mental health struggles in an Instagram post to her 20,000 followers last week.
Sharing a picture of herself in floods of tears, Kimberley said that she hopes her story helps others who are also struggling with depression.
In the caption, she wrote: “This picture was taken two years ago almost to the day. I had been forced to take a shower. I couldn’t stop crying.
