A police officer was struck by a car which drove through the scene of a stabbing in north London, according to a witness. The first responder has described how he tended to the officer, helping him unzip his jacket so he could breathe properly after the incident outside Manor House Station.
Efrayim Goldstein said the PC was standing behind the cordon which had been set up after a reported stabbing when a white car sped through the tape.
The community reverend, aged 30, was on his way home when he came across the scene in the early hours of Thursday, with the initial patient being put into an ambulance.
