Paisley theatre group behind project to boost art opportunities for young people

Renfrewshire’s young people has been launched.PACE Theatre Company is behind Ignite21 which will give out small grants, offer free rehearsal space and provide partnership opportunities for artists or organisations to create exciting new artwork for young people.The scheme has been funded by Creative Scotland as part of the Scottish Government Covid-19 Emergency Fund.Jenni Mason, artistic director of PACE explained: “We are passionate about the transformative power of the arts and committed to creating exciting and accessible opportunities for young people, so we are thrilled to have this opportunity to distribute funds to develop new projects in Renfrewshire.“Through the Youth Arts Small Grant fund we will be able to offer support to.
