Get the stories that matter to you sent straight to your inbox with our daily newsletter.A dealer was caught in the act when eagle-eyed plainclothes cops spotted him in the middle of a drug swap.Officers clocked the deal going down in Quarry Street, Renfrew, at around 10am on Wednesday and gave chase.After a short foot chase the suspect was nabbed and searched which lead to the discovery of more than £3,000 worth of cocaine.The dealer also had deal size quantities of cannabis on him when he was stopped as well as a blade, which he failed to disclose to officers.Inspector Allan O’Hare, from Renfrew, Johnstone and the villages community policing team said members of the public hold the key to preventing drug activity in the region.He said:
