hereA 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of obstructing police officers.All three remain in police custody and are due to be questioned by police.The violence unfolded as officers responded to reports of a disturbance on Fircroft Road, in Oldham, at around 3.25pm on Wednesday.When officers attended, they established that there had been a fight involving two men.As part of their enquiries, officers visited a property on Bankfield Drive in the Fitton Hill area of the town.When they arrived they were “turned upon” Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said.One officer was taken to hospital with an injury which required stitches.Another two officers received minor injuries and a fourth officer was spat at.Superintendent Leon Jacobs says.
