Oldham Athletic bosses have condemned a number of fans who damaged the coach of a rival team after a match on Tuesday evening (December 7).
Following the club’s defeat against Tranmere Rovers at the Boundary Park stadium in Oldham, a ‘small minority of so-called supporters’ attacked the coach belonging to the Birkenhead team, causing damage to its rear window.
Oldham bosses said they were ‘extremely disappointed’ in the incident and were working with Greater Manchester Police to help identify those involved.
