Man bailed after schoolgirl, 10, killed in tragic Oldham horror crash

A man has been released on bail pending further enquiries after a horror crash which killed a 10-year-old girl in Oldham. Residents in Sholver were left in shock following the death of little Lily Rose Morris on Saturday (December 18).

The Hodge Clough Primary School pupil died in hospital shortly after being hit by a red Land Rover Discovery on Coleridge Road before 5pm. Greater Manchester Police arrested a 42-year-old man over the weekend, on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving under the influence.
