A man has been arrested after police officers were assaulted after stopping a car for tailgating a fire engine during an emergency.
On Wednesday (December 22) officers were responding to an accident on Peter's Way in Bolton when they spotted a fire engine with emergency lights on making its way through traffic and being followed by a car.
