Tottenham have confirmed the appointment of former Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo as their new head coach on a two-year contract.Spurs had been on the hunt for a new manager since sacking Jose Mourinho in April, with Ryan Mason taking interim charge of the side for the remainder of the 2020/21 campaign.Daniel Levy's recruitment process proved a long-winded one when first-choice targets Antonio Conte and Paulo Fonseca turned down the opportunity to replace Mourinho.But now the north London club have finally filled the vacancy, confirming the arrival of Espirito Santo on a deal which runs until 2023.The Portuguese boss departed Wolves this summer after four years in the Molineux hot-seat, where he enjoyed great success after gaining.
