Santo takes over at Spurs this summer after talisman Kane spoke out about wanting to leave to win trophies elsewhere. His first job will be to persuade Kane to stay, and he naturally fielded questions on the England captain's future when facing the media for the first time on Friday.
In a warning to City and any other prospective buyers, Santo simply said: "He is our player. No need to talk about anything else.
