North Ayrshire Council.It was announced by the local authority this evening that Joy Brahim has tendered her resignation.No reason has been given for the Ms Brahim's exit from the council.In a statement, Ms Brahim said she was "grateful to everyone" she'd worked with since she was elected in 2017.She added: "I am grateful to everyone I have worked with and for over the past four years to serve the Dalry & West Kilbride ward, including constituents and community groups, council officers, and fellow councillors.
I extend my best wishes to all.”Ms Brahim moved to Scotland in 2010 after working as a solicitor in The Netherlands, where she was admitted to the Bar of The Hague and the Supreme Court of The Netherlands.The Nationalist politician.
