Manchester United and Man City have both agreed, along with other clubs and the Premier League, to suspend Russian broadcast rights.

This news comes following the country's invasion of neighbouring Ukraine. Players and fans across the league showed solidarity with Russia this weekend prior to their matches.

In a statement the Premier League said: "The Premier League and its clubs today unanimously agreed to suspend our agreement with Russian broadcast partner Rambler (Okko Sport) with immediate effect and to donate £1million to support the people of Ukraine.

The league strongly condemns Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. We call for peace and our thoughts are with all those impacted.
