Ruben Dias remains a doubt for Manchester City's crunch Premier League and Champions League games next month after Pep Guardiola was told trying to bring the defender back too early could end his season.
Dias, 24, suffered a hamstring injury in the FA Cup win over Peterborough at the start of March and an initial diagnosis of four to six weeks was given.
Despite some confusion this week, the Portugal international has not yet returned to training at City so is unavailable for the trip to Southampton this weekend.
Guardiola would love to see him back in time to face Burnley on April 2 before their European quarter-final with Atletico and top-of-the-table clash with Liverpool that will come swiftly after the international break.
