Heartbreaking tributes have poured in for a dedicated and "beautiful" NHS worker who died after contracting coronavirus. Barbara Moor, 54, who spent her entire career caring for others "deserved better," say family and friends.
Ms Moor, a patient discharge planner at Aintree Hospital, died on Monday after testing positive for the COVID-19 virus, reports Liverpool Echo.
Touching messages have poured in for Barbara as hundreds sent condolences to her family. On Facebook, one former patient at Aintree who met Barbara said that she "deserved better".
Laura Thomas said: "I have known Barbara for a few years as have spent more time Ward 11 than in my own home over the past three years. "She was an absolute diamond, with a heart of gold.
