Phillip Bryan Schofield (born 1 April 1962) is an English television presenter who works for ITV. He is currently the co-presenter of This Morning (2002–present) and Dancing on Ice (2006–2014, 2018–present) alongside Holly Willoughby. His other work for ITV includes All Star Mr & Mrs (2008–2016), The Cube (2009–2015), and 5 Gold Rings (2017–present). Schofield gained national attention working for the BBC, first as a continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays from 1985 to 1987, then as a presenter on the children's Saturday morning magazine show Going Live! between September 1987 and April 1993.

Holly Willoughby shuts down fiery coronavirus clash as it escalates on This Morning

This Morning host Holly Willoughby shut down a coronavirus debate today as she presented alongside Phillip Schofield on the show.

They had Dr Philippa Kaye and weight loss expert Steve Miller on the show to debate whether there is a link between obesity and coronavirus, and it didn't take long for things to get heated.

Dr Philippa started off by saying: "You can speak to your GP. There are surgical treatments and bariatric surgery has evidence that it really makes a difference to obesity." Talking over her, Steve chipped in: "You’re telling me you want to throw people on an operating table." The doctor replied: "I’m talking about where the evidence is, actually, because most people who do manage to lose weight will then put that weight
