An NHS worker was asked where he was from and then stabbed to death just days after his father died from a coronavirus-related illness, a court heard today.

Muhammad Jalloh, 18, and a 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named, allegedly knifed David Gomoh in a 'random' attack moments after he left his family home at 10.25pm on 26 April.

The 24-year-old, who studied at Southbank University, worked on the frontline supplying equipment for NHS staff at St Bartholomew Hospital in the City of London.

The marketing graduate was allegedly set upon by a group of masked men close to the NHS Nightingale hospital at the ExCel centre.
