An NHS staffer has warned the second wave of coronavirus is hitting hospitals harder than the first. Royal Stoke Hospital worker Maxwell Chattaway, 29, said the situation was "horrendous" as he begged people to take precautions against the deadly virus.
The Royal Stoke was last week treating more than 300 coronavirus patients - with 32 of them in critical care, reports Staffordshire Live.
Staffordshire pals Maxwell, senior staff nurse Jack Smith, and ward clerk Robert Kewish,are running 26.2 miles each week throughout February - totalling 314.4 miles between them for charity.
