The launch of music and concert promoter Pat Egan’s brand new book Backstage Pass: A Life in Show Business took place at the Bestseller Cafe in Dawson Street, Dublin Pat’s new book seeks to give readers a first-hand, behind-the-scenes insight into the inner workings of the Irish concert business.
The exciting book features never before told stories of life working with famous faces including Billy Connolly, Van Morrison, Phil Lynott, Paul McGrath, U2, Eric Clapton, Sir George Martin, Dame Shirley Bassey, Lou Reed, and many more.
The book also aims to shine a light on the poor treatment of young Irish acts who can’t get their music played on Irish commercial radio.
