Millwall have released a statement saying they are "dismayed and saddened" after some fans booed players for taking the knee ahead of Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Derby County.
Fans returned to The Den for the first time in nine months for the Championship fixture and booed the gesture which supports the Black Lives Matter movement.
Millwall confirmed they will meet with Kick It Out - which campaigns for racial equality in football - in the wake of the event.
