Millionaire Tory Rishi Sunak filmed a video used to promote the Conservative Party's annual conference from the Queen's private jet.

The Chancellor, married to a billionaire's daughter, filmed a clip on an RAF-operated BAE 146 aircraft, reserved for the Royal Family and senior ministers, during his trip to Scotland earlier this month.

A brief video – which has no sound – featuring Mr Sunak on the Tory Party website plugging the digital conference was filmed on the monarch's plane, the Mirror understands.

The VIP jet forms part of No32 (The Royal) Squadron, known as “The Queen's Flight". The clip was also used as part of a longer video publicising his trip to Scotland, and was published on the party’s YouTube channel.
