This Morning fans were left baffled as they tuned in at the usual time of 10am for the ITV daytime programme only to be met with the news instead.
As there have been many schedule disruptions over the last week after Russia invaded Ukraine, viewers began to panic that their favourite show had been replaced.
However, it later became apparent that the ITV News had just overrun by five minutes meaning hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were late for fans.Having spotted the issue straight away, many took to Twitter to demand an answer from ITV as to what was going on.One person ranted on the site: "What the f**k is going on?""This is not This Morning," fumed another.While a third asked: "Where is This Morning?" as a fourth online user complained: "News again."When the show finally kicked off, presenter Phil explained that the This Morning team were honouring Ukraine with virtual flags in the studio.Phil said: "Over the weekend, we've all seen the distressing images that continue to come out of Ukraine.""Well, there has been an outpouring of support across the world."Holly took over.
