Dancing On Ice's Dan Whiston has revealed that Sally Dynevor sent him a moving text after she was eliminated from the competition.

The Corrie star, 58, got her marching orders after ending up in the bottom two on Sunday night's (February 27) show, and graciously told hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby that she thought it was her "time to go".

Dan, the show's choreographer and creative director, said he was really sad to see Sally leave the ITV contest and that everybody on the ice-skating show had loved working with her.

Writing in his OK! column, he said he received a message from the actress as soon as he had got home from the programme. He said: "She said, 'Thank you so much for working so hard with me Dan, I've enjoyed every moment with you on the ice.'"I thought that was wonderful.
