EastEnders star Michael Greco has revealed that his baby son is still in the intensive care unit following complications after his premature arrival.
The 51 year old became a father for the first time on July 1 when he announced that his partner Helen Harris had given birth six weeks early.
Doctors delivered Gianluca early after a scan detected he had the rare birth defect Gastroschisis, in which internal organs including intestines develop outside the baby's body.
And over a week later, the soap star has offered an update of the newborn's health, explaining that he was "fighting to live a normal life".
