Mercedes driver caught taking 30 rubber gloves from petrol station apologises

A motorist has apologised for taking 15 pairs of rubber gloves from a petrol station amid the coronavirus outbreak. The Mercedes driver was caught on the dash-cam footage of Steve Harrison nabbing the blue protective items from a Tesco petrol station in Salford, Greater Manchester.

Public Health England has advises drivers to wear gloves when filling up their cars, to limit the spread of the coronavirus, Manchester Evening News reported.

In the footage Steve, 54, confronts the driver about his actions. He said: "I felt so strongly about what he’d done that I had to go over and confront him.
