Mauricio Pochettino is still open to managing Manchester United as they mull over a permanent successor to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Paris Saint-Germain coach Pochettino has long-harbored ambitions to manage United and was the club's initial choice to succeed Jose Mourinho in 2018, but Solskjaer convinced the United board to make his caretaker appointment permanent with 14 wins from his first 19 games.
Pochettino remained eager to take over at United following his sacking by Tottenham in November 2019 and the club sounded out Pochettino at the start of last season in the wake of the 6-1 thrashing by Tottenham.
However, United resisted sacking Solskjaer and Pochettino eventually accepted PSG's offer to succeed Thomas Tuchel last December.
