Manchester United to hire Brendan Rodgers as their next permanent manager because the Leicester City boss "ticks so many boxes".
The former Liverpool midfielder says Rodgers would be the "ideal fit to mastermind a long-term project" at Old Trafford and thinks he'd be a better choice than PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino, who's currently favourite for the job.Following the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last month, Ralf Rangnick was appointed interim head coach to ferry United to the end of the season.The club will then hire Solskjaer's permanent replacement, with Pochettino, Rodgers and Ajax boss Erik ten Hag all in the running.It's no secret that United have admired Pochettino for years, and his success in the Premier League with Tottenham.
