Liverpool legend Graeme Souness doesn’t believe Ralf Rangnick is what Manchester United need from a new manager. Rangnick has been confirmed as United’s new interim boss following Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s sacking last week, with the German signing a six-month deal with the club.
The former RB Leipzig manager will take charge for the remainder of the season before moving into a consultancy role on a two-year contract.
Rangnick is seen as a highly influential figure for his time managing in Germany, with the likes of Jurgen Klopp, Thomas Tuchel and Julian Nagelsmann all citing him as an influence on their careers.
