Manchester United have officially announced that former RB Leipzig and Hoffenheim boss Ralf Rangnick has been appointed the clubs interim manger until the end of the season, following the departure of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer just last week.
The German, who has been instrumental both on and off the field of all activities Leipzig have made over recent years, is well respected in his native country, with managers such as Jurgen Klopp and Thomas Tuchel regrading him as a 'huge influence' on their careers to date.
But with a tough job at hand for the 63-year-old, Rangnick will have some difficult decisions to make as he bids to change the fortunes of this United side who currently sit 8th in the Premier League.
