Self-Employment Income Support Scheme (SEISS) grant has helped millions of self-employed workers across the UK get through the coronavirus pandemic.
There have been three rounds of financial support for self-employed workers so far with applications for the fourth grant set to open in “late” April.
There is no set date for applications opening, however, HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) recently updated its online guidance to explain that “if you’re eligible based on your tax returns, HMRC will contact you in mid-April to give you a date that you can make your claim from.
It will be given to you either by email, letter or within the online service.” However, Martin Lewis, issued a cautionary warning through social media to self-employed workers.
