Martin Lewis in furlough update: Your old job can re-hire you after new advice

Talking on ITV's Martin Lewis Money Show, the finance wizard doubled-down on his advice to go back to your old employer and ask to be put on furlough if you've been made redundant.
Furlough, which is when you get up to 80% of your salary from your employer via a government grant even if you're not working, was explained by Martin last week.
He said the government had now made the guidelines much clearer and that they also apply to people who left their old place of work voluntarily and were due to start a new job.
