Martin Lewis shares new top savings accounts with surprise bank leading the way

dailystar.co.ukMoney Saving Expert Martin Lewis has revealed the latest banks to offer the best interest rates for savings accounts. Banks across the globe have slashed their interest rates in recent weeks to deal with the economic fallout from the coronavirus pandemic.
Just last month, Martin explained that sister companies Marcus and Saga were leading the way with their 1.3% interest rate on easy access accounts.
This has now changed dramatically. “Both have dropped their interest rates this week – Marcus to 1.05%, Saga to 1%,” he explained on last night’s The Martin Lewis Money Show on ITV. “The top easy access account is RCI bank at 1.2% but I think that may drop.” But there may be a better option in the form of state-owned NS&I.
