MEN Sport understands United agreed to terminate Rojo's contract early, from its original June 2021 expiry, allowing the 30-year-old to join the Argentine giants on a three-year deal.
The Argentinian international brings to an end a six-and-a-half year stint at Old Trafford in which he made 123 appearances, including 64 league starts and scored two goals.
