The first trailer for Netflix's anticipated David Fincher drama Mank has dropped. While Fincher has kept busy in recent years with acclaimed TV projects like Mindhunter and House of Cards, Mank marks the first feature film from the visionary director since 2014's Gone Girl.
Set in the 1930s, the film stars Gary Oldman as screenwriter Herman J. Mankiewicz, the award-winning co-writer of the legendary Orson Welles dramaCitizen Kane.
Tom Burke (The Souvenir, The Musketeers) also stars as Welles in this tale told through the eyes of Mankiewicz, a Hollywood social criticand alcoholic racing to finish one of cinema's most iconic films.
