Manchester United have tabled an offer of £58m for Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar as they look to win the race for his signature.
The Red Devils face competition from their arch rivals Manchester City as they both eye defensive recruitments. But the outgoing Premier League champions have matched United's offer according to Tuttosport.
The Premier League duo are not the only clubs chasing Skriniar with Real Madrid and Bayern Munich both having proposals rejected by Inter.
