West Dunbartonshire on Saturday night.Detectives in Clydebank have launched a probe after the incident happened in Renton on Saturday, February 13.Police and ambulance crews raced to Main Street in the village after the report of the 39-year-old being assaulted by a man at around 9.45pm.Medics rushed the injured man by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he is being treated for a head injury.Hospital staff have described his condition as serious but stable.Cops are are now hunting a man who is described as being tall and of stocky build.Detective Sergeant Bruce Fyfe at Clydebank Police Station said: “We have been carrying out enquiries in the local area and gathering CCTV footage to find out more details on this.
