Emergency services rushed to Flora Street, on the outskirts of Oldham town centre, shortly before 3am on Thursday, March 25, following reports a man had been stabbed.
The victim - now named as 39-year-old Stephen Taylor - from Stalybridge, Tameside, was taken to Royal Oldham Hospital in a critical condition, where he was tragically pronounced dead.
