Kate Middleton beamed with joy while visiting a Welsh farm during her trip to the country with husband Prince William. The pair last visited Wales together in December 2020, and previously lived there for two years soon after getting married. The purpose for the trip today, Tuesday 1 March, is to celebrate the region’s culture as it marks St David’s Day.
Kate, 40, was all smiles at Pant Farm near Abergavenny. The mum-of-three wore a khaki green jacket paired with a bold red scarf, complete with a daffodil pin.
Pant Farm is a goat farm that has been providing milk to a local cheese producer for nearly 20 years. While at the farm, the royal couple will be given a tour and they will hear about the challenges and opportunities faced by the sector and how the farm works with local industries and services.
After their tour of the farm, Kate and William, 39, will visit Abergavenny Market to see first-hand just how important local suppliers are to rural communities. They'll then go on to the Blaenavon Hwb, a community-focused youth centre that helps to support over 600 local young people, where they will speak to young people who go to the centre, as well as take part in some of the activities the centre lays on, including making Welsh cakes.
