Pep Guardiola has spent a lot of this season playing without an out-and-out striker due to Sergio Aguero's injury problems, with Bernardo Silva starting as a false nine in both legs of City's Champions League tie with Borussia Dortmund.
It could well prove to be a longer-term tactic for Guardiola, with Aguero set to leave City this summer when his contract expires and, whilst plenty of replacements have been mooted, it remains to be seen whether a new striker will arrive in the transfer window.
