A man was seriously assaulted outside a Tesco store in Edinburgh in a ‘targeted’ blade attack. The 32-year-old victim was attacked outside the store in Gracemount Drive around 8pm on Thursday but managed to get into the shop for help.
He was later taken to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment. Police said the male suspect was seen to break the window of a car in the Tesco car park, before running from the area and entering a dark hatchback vehicle on Captain’s Drive and driving away.Detective Inspector Bob Campbell said: “This appears to have been a targeted attack and we do not believe there was any risk to the wider public.“It took place in public outside a busy shop, with numerous members of the public present, so we are
