Martin Cunningham, 27, had travelled from Keady, Co Armagh when he and several friends were attacked on August 14 just after 1am.
The attack happened on Bold Street in Liverpool, the Liverpool Echo reports. Martin suffered a fractured skull and was 'left for dead' in the unprovoked attack which happened while he was out celebrating his stag do.
