WORLD Book Day has seen parents across Britain packing their kids off to school in crazy costumes - and it's the same in Celebland.

The only difference perhaps is that there's a lot more money going around to transform their cherubs into literary figures. First up this morning was Kerry Katona, who dressed her daughter Dylan-Jorge, 7, up as Harry Potter.

The schoolgirl, her youngest child with late ex George Kay, was dressed up as the boy wizard complete with cloak and Gryffindor scarf.

Perhaps the most elaborate effort went to Emmerdale and Waterloo Road star Adam Thomas, 33, and his wife Caroline. He shared a picture of their children Teddy and Elsie-Rose dressed up as the Mad Hatter and Queen of Hearts from Alice In Wonderland.
