Waterloo Road's Kim Campbell star says it's 'weird' filming BBC show revival
BBC announced in September 2021 that the school-based programme would be returning to screens based back in Manchester with the makers of New Tricks, Wall to Wall producing it alongside a Manchester-based label, Rope Ladder Fiction who had previously worked on the show.Earlier this year, it was announced that Angela Griffin would be returning alongside Katie Griffiths as Chlo Charles and Adam Thomas as Donte Charles.While Angela's character, Kim Campbell, may have been head of pastoral care – she's now stepped up as headteacher.Speaking exclusively about the show at the Pride of Manchester Awards, she told Daily Star: "It's bloody brilliant, she's very different this time."What's happened to Kim in the last six years?
