A man has been left in a serious condition after being stabbed during a late night assault in Glasgow . Emergency crews raced to Castlemilk Drive on Thursday night after reports of a disturbance between 11.15pm and 11.45pm.

A 20-year-old man was found in a serious condition and was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with a puncture wound.

Police are now attempting to track down the driver of a white van which was seen driving towards the man before making off along Ardencraig Road.

Detective Constable Craig Phee of Cathcart CID said: “We are appealing for witnesses who may have seen this disturbance or who may have seen a white van in the immediate area of this disturbance to get in touch.“I also urge any motorists who were in
