Man left in hospital after knife-wielding serious assault in Blantyre

Get the stories that matter to you sent straight to your inbox with our daily newsletter.A man was left in hospital following a serious assault involving bladed weapons on Saturday, November 28.Police are hunting two men that carried out the attack in Welsh Drive, Blantyre, at around 1.30pm.The 28-year-old victim was taken to Hairmyres hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries and has since been released.The first suspect is described as between 18 and 20-years-old, of a slim build and was wearing a black hat, black zipper hoodie, black joggers and a facemask.The second suspect is described in his early 20s, around 6ft tall with a slim build and short brown hair.At the time of the incident he was wearing a full black matching.
