Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay has admitted an issue with their famous academy. The Scotland international is a regular starter under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and a favourite among the fans, but he has a trivial gripe about the club regarding boots.
All players in the youth system have to wear black boots rather than the wide range of colours and styles seen when they reach first-team level in the Premier League.
The 24-year-old has stated that he and his colleagues were not a fan of the rule during his time in the system, but has also admitted that he can understand the reasoning in relation to future success.
