Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed Scott McTominay and Aaron Wan-Bissaka will play no part in Manchester United's Carabao Cup tie with Everton on Wednesday night through injury.
The news comes as a major blow to the Red Devils boss ahead of the quarter-final clash, as McTominay produced a masterful display in midfield in United's last outing.
The 24-year-old scored twice in the first three minutes - the fastest double in Premier League history - as United crushed Leeds 6-2 at Old Trafford.
Right-back Wan-Bissaka, meanwhile, has been a mainstay in the starting XI, making 19 appearances in all competitions this season.
