It's rare for the Scot to get on the scoresheet let alone score twice inside the opening three minutes. And he set up James in the second half to round off a terrific game.
The result puts United third in the table, with a game in hand and five points behind leaders Liverpool. McTominay was asked if he looks at the table but the midfielder claims he pays no attention to it.
